Full Legislative Update with Q&A
Noah J. Nelson, Esq.
Monday, August 16, 2021
6200 West Club Lane
Richmond, VA 23226
Noah Nelson represents individuals and businesses in civil actions. In Noah's role as counselor, he also analyzes clients' business processes to help avoid future litigation.
Noah's educational background uniquely suits him for this role. Noah simultaneously earned his law degree from the TC Williams School of Law and his Master's in Business Administration from the Robins School of Business. Noah is a Spider three times over having also earned his undergraduate degrees in Leadership Studies and French from the University of Richmond as well.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Noah analyzed and communicated the conflicting guidance from local, state, and federal levels regarding evictions and unlawful detainer filings. He shepherded his clients through that mayhem and teamed with them to maximize their recovery from the monies available, while also navigating evictions where necessary.
Noah is admitted to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as the Federal Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. One noteworthy case that Noah litigated, and won, was in front of the Virginia Supreme Court concerning whether the proceeds from a homeowner’s insurance policy were immune from a garnishment.
Noah enjoys spending time with his six-year-old son and attempting to build things out of wood.
