Join RPOA on July 12 as Adam Nelson speaks to us on Landlord-Tenant Law updates. Nelson benefits from over two decades of legal experience and five years as a corporate financial analyst, with a background in psychology, when serving his real estate and business transaction clients. Adam handles the sales and purchases of commercial real estate and businesses and business assets, commercial leasing, including resolution of commercial landlord and tenant disputes and representation of landlords in tenant bankruptcies. He is experienced in drafting agreements to resolve real estate and business issues, including boundary line disputes, easement issues, and forbearance by lenders. To him, being a lawyer means fixing problems for your clients and getting their deal done, while protecting the client as best you can. Adam is an adjunct professor at the University of Richmond School of Law, teaching a class on Contract Drafting and has previously led courses on Transactional Advanced Writing at William & Mary Law School. Adam received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his BA and MBA in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University.
